Arlene’s Artist Materials, the Atelier at Arlene’s, and R Gallery at Arlene’s are thrilled to present our fifth annual Student Art Show, a vibrant celebration of creativity, learning, and artistic achievement. This exhibition highlights the work of students who have participated in classes and workshops at the Atelier, showcasing a diverse range of styles, mediums, and perspectives. Held throughout February 2026 at the Guilderland Public Library (2228 Western Ave, Guilderland, NY 12084), the show offers an inspiring public space for artists to share their work with the community. Featuring pieces in charcoal, watercolor, mixed media, and more, the exhibition reflects the artistic growth nurtured within our programs while giving students a professional platform to shine.
A special artist reception and awards ceremony will recognize outstanding works with awards sponsored by the Albany Center Gallery, the Arts Center of the Capital Region, and the Colonie Art League, along with Arlene’s own honors including the Honorable Mention, Diana Bangert-Drowns Memorial Creativity Award, and Best in Show.
The exhibition will be open during regular Guilderland Public Library hours—Monday through Thursday from 9:30 am to 8 pm, Friday from 9:30 am to 6 pm, Saturday from 9:30 am to 5 pm, and Sunday from 1 pm to 5 pm—though availability may vary due to library events, so we recommend contacting the library for the most up‑to‑date schedule.
