CALL FOR ART

Artist & Curatorial Proposals for 2024

The R Gallery at Arlene’s is now accepting artist proposals for 2024. “Since our humble beginning in 2017, the R Gallery at Arlene’s has been lucky enough to feature a wide selection of talented artists and creatives that live in our community. We want to continue that narrative and are looking for regional artists to build on that tradition,” says Gallery Director and Curator Andrew Ochal. He goes on to say “Ideal applicants will have a strong body of work with a clear voice that reflects their artistic vision. As well as a willingness to share that vision with our creative community.”

Interested artists are encouraged to formulate a concept for their exhibition and effectively communicate that idea in their application. Applicants need to articulate the concept in a brief description as well as show the work included in the exhibition. “We want to see their passion and point of view”, says Ochal, “the gallery is open to all types of exhibitions and wants to foster a full range of creativity.” All applications must be submitted online through this submission form. No mail submissions will be accepted. The deadline to apply is Saturday, August 26, 2023 (5 PM).
