About the event

Students who have not previously taken my watercolor classes are encouraged to start with this class, as a prerequisite for Watercolor Level 2 classes. Learn how to use watercolors while creating a beautiful painting using various techniques and methods through simple steps, tips, and references. In-class demonstrations.

Supplies are not included in the cost of the workshop. Refer to the Materials List linked below for more information.

This is an online class. Participants will make art at home with live guidance from the instructor.

What you’ll need:

  • Internet access.
  • An internet-connected device with audio and video capabilities. A computer or laptop is highly recommended, but participants can join by phone or tablet if needed.
  • Zoom, which will be our primary platform. No account is required, and secure links and passwords will be provided by the instructor.
  • Adequate space for making art.
  • Art supplies, as listed on each class's supply list, are provided by email. Participants are responsible for securing the supplies needed for each class (for example, if you already have scissors and glue, you don’t need to order them), and the cost of art supplies is not included in the class fee.
