Reflected Light in Watercolor with Kris Woodward

In this hands-on workshop, Kris will demonstrate techniques for painting glass, including how to represent transparency, reflections, and refractions. She'll bring a variety of vases and glassware for you to practice on, helping you see and paint the world through a painter's lens. You’ll learn to observe and paint the shapes, colors, and textures within glass, including stems in water, the waterline, and the subtle lost and found edges. Kris will also show you how to paint the cast shadows that add depth and dimension to your artwork.
