About the event
Students will learn construction, planes of the head and alignment of features. How to build form by light and line sensitivity will be addressed. Foundational means of measuring will be covered. Mediums will be charcoal and sanguine, black, and white chalk on toned paper for a traditional classic approach to rendering as in the work of Watteau. We will work from a combination of references and a live model. Supplies are not included in the cost of the workshop. Refer to the Materials List linked below for more information.
