Lush Botannica- Creating Botanical Art with Felt and Thread with Aly Parrott

If you’ve been curious about fiber art but aren’t sure where to begin, this workshop offers the perfect place to start. In this hands-on class, you’ll create a lush botanical wall hanging using wool felt scraps, wool roving, and embroidery thread. Through a mix of needle‑felting and embroidery techniques, you’ll learn a multimedia approach that blends texture, color, and form into a vibrant, dimensional piece of art. An instructor‑led example will guide you through the process, but you’re encouraged to add your own creative spin—choosing colors, shapes, and details that make your piece uniquely yours. By the end of class, you’ll leave with a beautiful botanical wall hanging and the confidence to continue exploring fiber art on your own.
