Knitting 101 with Aly Parrott

Always wanted to learn to knit but never knew where to start? If online tutorials feel overwhelming, this beginner‑friendly workshop offers a supportive, hands-on way to build your skills from the ground up. You’ll learn the fundamentals of casting on, knitting and purling, increasing, decreasing, and casting off—the essential building blocks of every knitting project. Along the way, you’ll also learn helpful tips for choosing the right yarn and needles so you can confidently start projects at home. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have the skills to follow most beginner patterns or even design simple pieces like scarves and blankets. Supplies are not included.
