Beginning Watercolor with Carolyn DiFiori Hopkins, MFA

Ready to take your watercolor journey to the next level? This workshop is designed for those who’ve completed Intro to Watercolor or studied with Carolyn and are eager to move beyond the basics. You’ll dive into essential techniques like wet-into-wet, dry brush, and glazing, while learning how to bring full compositions to life—from still life and landscapes to simple figures. In a supportive, skill-building environment, you’ll work with the materials you already own, and Carolyn will guide you through making the most of them. Plus, you’ll have the chance to shop in the store with her expert advice to round out your toolkit.

Please note: To participate in advanced watercolor classes and workshops with Carolyn, students must first complete Intro to Watercolor—unless previously enrolled with her. Placement may also be determined by submitting a sample of your work for review.
