In addition to head and feature construction, form, planes, and lighting, the students will also become familiar with the Zorn palette. Students will learn the basics of hue, value, and chroma. Emphasis will be placed on varying the color temperature while maintaining the value structure.

About the event
In addition to head and feature construction, form, planes, and lighting, the students will also become familiar with the Zorn palette. Students will learn the basics of hue, value, and chroma. Emphasis will be placed on varying the color temperature while maintaining the value structure. We will work from a combination of references and a live model. This class is considered a continuation of Portraits in Charcoal Class but the first class is not a prerequisite. Supplies are not included in the cost of the workshop. Refer to the Materials List linked below for more information.
