Artists will create a cohesive body of work to be exhibited in R Gallery at Arlene’s and will be provided a basic studio space area. They will teach in our Atelier at Arlene’s program and be able to participate in any classes or workshops at Arlene’s. Accepted AIR will participate in that  year's Arlene’s Art Fair. Also, they will be expected to give an Artist Talk at Arlene’s regarding the body of work they are working on during their residency. 

 

NOTE: A portfolio is required for review and acceptance to this program.

 

We are currently accepting applications for the 2022/23 AIR program at Arlene's. AIR Applications are solely done online, click button below,  and due by the priority deadline Saturday, April 30, 2022. Early applications is highly recommended. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.

A complete application includes:

• Letter of Intent, where you describe the artistic or project goals you would like to further during the AIR at Arlene's. Include descriptions of the types of classes or workshops you would like to offer as the AIR. (PDF only)

• CV/Resume (PDF only)

Visual work samples:

• 10-15 jpgs and/or audio / video files. (Please label files as such: 1_yourlastname_.jpg, 2_yourlastname.jpg, etc)

• Image List. Number images according to the file numbers. Include title, date, medium, size (PDF only)
