Calligrapher and self-described theatre nerd, Maureen Neufeld is always learning, playing, and exploring. She started her own calligraphy business, The Unscripted Calligrapher, specializing in commissions.
Maureen is also the Director of Development for the Playhouse Stage Company. She has worked at such historic local theatres as the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall (Troy, NY) and the Palace Theatre (Albany, NY). She spent several years in New York City where she worked in Broadway and off-Broadway theatres during her career with companies like the Irish Repertory Theatre, The Joyce Theater Foundation, and Manhattan Theatre Club. Maureen earned a BA in Theatre with honors from the University at Buffalo, where she began her administrative career in the Center for the Arts. In addition to her professional role with Playhouse Stage Company, Maureen is an active board member on several nonprofit boards including theatre companies, dance companies, and other charitable organizations.
